List on realestate.com.au
When renting out or selling your own home, an internet campaign which reaches a large number of prospective buyers or tenants is vital. In most cases, this can be achieved by [listing on realestate.com.au]; Australia’s largest and most visited real estate website. Although it is not possible to publish a property to their website unless you’re an agent, this is possible through www.forsalebyowner.com.au, as they are a licensed real estate agency, and hold an account with them.
In terms of advertising privately on realestate.com.au, it should be clarified that this is not actually possible. What is possible, however, is listing your property privately and selling without the use of a traditional real estate agent, and have your property published on their website through FSBO. Please bear in mind, however, that the REA is for agents only and they do not accept casual listings by vendors.
Once listed, REA has a number of upgrades that you may like to consider. These are feature upgrades, highlight upgrades and premier upgrades. The cost of these is suburb dependant as some suburbs are obviously more competitive than others. Upgrades work in the following way:
Properties are listed by default from the most recently listed ones on top going down to older listings. A newly listed property will therefore appear higher than one that was published earlier. However, by upgrading your listing your property is pushed up the ranks. A feature property will always appear higher than a standard listing, no matter when it was published. A highlight listing will appear higher than all standard and feature listings, and a premier listing will be listed higher than all standard listings, all feature listings, and all highlight listings. Once an upgrade has expired, the listing will then drop down to a standard listing.
The cost of each of the possible realestate.com.au upgrades is based on the individual suburb. Please contact us for a quote should you be interested in upgrading your listing on realestate.com.au
